About Us
Combaflex was established in 1997 and for the past thirty-eight years the key personnel have been actively involved in the development of mechanical moulded rubber lining systems, for the cost effective operating efficiency of horizontal rotary grinding mills.We believe that the success of South Africa lies in its people and that our contribution towards achieving this success lies in providing uncompromisingly high standards in quality, technology, skills and service. The investment in additional large manufacturing equipment by our selected suppliers has improved the production capability and efficiency of our local service operation. The increased manufacturing facility has also provided opportunities for additional local empowerment initiatives.Our complete mill lining and scrubber drum lining moulded rubber product range is designed and supplied by Combaflex and is manufactured in South Africa.The Combaflex lining system offers realistic and substantial contributions to reduction in the total operating costs of rotary grinding mills. In the main, these contributions optimize operating efficiency, prolong the effective wearing life of the lining, reduce maintenance and downtime and include innovated ideas and methods for upgrading existing rubber lining systems.
COMBAFLEX PRODUCT RANGE
Combaflex is also involved in the design, manufacture and supply of the complete range of specialized moulded rubber lining components within the mill lining and mineral processing domain.

Extra heavy duty moulded rubber screen decks for vibrating units in scalping and grizzly sorting applications is a recent addition to our product range.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Other aspects of our service to the mining and mineral processing industry in South Africa, includes the upgrading, installation and replacement of rubber lining components for rotary grinding mills and scrubber drum lining systems.This service includes on-site installation of rubber liners in horizontal rotary grinding mills and scrubber washing drums.
Combaflex is also involved in training and up-grading the skills of the local people in the service / installation of mill and scrubber drum lining components. In addition to this commitment, Combaflex is able to offer 40 years of knowledge, gained through some mistakes and many years of experience, in rotary grinding mill rubber lining design and installation.
The effectiveness of the grinding mills operation is highly dependent on the performance of the linings. Combaflex offers unique and simple innovative solutions in terms of mill lining design, which optimizes grinding economy in horizontal tumbling mills.

Regarding the monitoring of the lining and back-up service;
THIS SERVICE IS AXIOMATIC
We undertake as normal procedure, on request, to monitor and inspect the lining on an ongoing basis. The monitoring of the lining is carried out on a regular agreed time basis at no extra charge.
Technical information complete with recommended corrective action on liner profiles and abnormal wear rates is submitted by our technical department, on request, together with suggested change-out periods of liner components for timeous maintenance scheduling.
As a complement to our service, we also offer design expertise in combination mill linings and hybrid mill lining systems for SAG mills, AG mills, Primary Ball Mills and Rod mills.
